I am starting a new monthly series in which I will talk about what inspires me each month. It is a way for you and me to keep track of what new things I learn each month and a way for me to get in the habit of updating my blog regularly. This month I am reviewing a book that my sister let me borrow on HTML5 titled HTML5 For Web Designers by Jeremy Keith from A Book Apart.
This book is a quick and easy read which gives you a brief timeline of how HTML progressed from HTML2 all the way to the new HTML5. It also describes the new changes to HTML and lets you know which features you can start using today.
This book is a quick way to find out what new things are happening with HTML5. It doesn't go into complete detail about each new HTML5 feature, but it does simplify the main ones in a easy-to-read 85 page book. It is enough to make you eager to start coding with HTML5 in all of your websites going forward. I recommend picking up the book if you are curious what HTML5 is and what you can start using today.
